Doritos Crusted Chicken Strips

I made these a few weeks ago, and the whole family loved them. I even got a little more experimental while making these, and crushed up some cheese itz and made a few Cheese it crusted chicken strips, which turned out really good as well. You can definitely get created with ideas here. One thing I will say about these chicken strips...They do not make good left-overs. I tried to heat a few up for lunch the next day...the breading had gotten soggy and they were not very good. So only make enough to be eaten that night, and enjoy them right away. we Dipped ours in sour cream and Ranch.

Ingredients:
Bonless,skinless chicken breasts
Doritos (any flavor)
Panko breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk

1) Crush Doritos. I do this by either putting some in a ziplock bag and crushing them with my hands, or I put some on a plate and crush them with the bottom of a glass. If you have a food preocesser, that would make it even easier.

2) mix Panko crumbs with Dorito crumbs. You want to the mix to be 1 part panko, 4 parts doritos. So if you have 4 cups of dorito crumbs, add 1 cup panko to that. How much crumb mix you need depends on how many chicken strips you're using.

3) cut chicken into strips

4) mix egg with milk

5) dip chicken into egg wash, then coat with crumb mix. It helps to press the chicken into the crumb mix to get it to stick good.

6) place chicken in pan lined with aluminum foil

7) bake at 350 for about 35 mins, flipping chicken strips half way though.
